Pioneer is more than just a summer camp. We also offer several exciting wilderness experiences based out of our two island sites on Shoal Lake.

Manitoba schools have been enjoying OUTDOOR EDUCATION at Pioneer since the mid 1970's. We specialize in hands-on wilderness programming and outdoor recreation. We offer collaborative programs to schools in May, June.

Founded in 1987, the WILDWISE CANOE TRIP program partners with groups to provide custom wilderness canoe trips.

Group RENTALS include youth groups, school groups, community groups and families who are seeking service and space on our island facilites.

We offer skills COURSES each season to keep our staff well trained, and we open these opportunities to staff from other camps and organizations.
